Pediatric and Pregnancy
This is a small look into the research coming out about the benefits of chiropractic during pregnancy and for kids. Dr. O'Quinn is a part of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to support research, training, and public education. She is currenlty working on her Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). The 200-hour curriculum provides the doctor with techniques and protocols of care for children and pregnant women. The 16 module program covers advanced levels of training and expertise additional to what is offered in chiropractic colleges. She is already certified in Webster Technique, a gentle technique designed for women during pregnancy. She is currently the only doctor in the Pine Belt area with this special certification.
